Hi. And thank you for visiting my portfolio’s website.
I’m Jonathan Baranek, a graphic designer and a photographer. 34 years of age and lives a happy life in Rosh-Ha’Ayin.
After a long experience of quality control and production engineering management, I decided to take a leap and focus on the thing I love the most – pictures.
Manipulating them, editing them, and of course – designing them.
About 3 years ago I fell in love with adobe’s Photoshop and Lightroom softwares. These two, changed my life course and I knew from that same day that I’m starting to navigate to my true heart’s direction.
Since then I met with adobe’s other softwares such as illustrator, indesign, and Flash (animate, nowadays…) that sent me right back to my days in the army – where I first discovered that miracle called Macromedia Flash 4.
Later on, I came familiar with HTML and used it with self taught ASP (VB-Script) to build a computerized management system that completely upgraded my department and I used it every day for years to come.
This site, however, was built using WordPress with some HTML and CSS manipulations.

אני יונתן ברנק, מעצב גרפי וצלם. בן 34 וחי חיים מאושרים בראש-העין.
לאחר ניסיון ארוך בניהול הנדסת ייצור ומערכת איכות החלטתי לשנות כיוון ולהתמקד בדבר האהוב עליי ביותר – תמונות.
לעבד אותן, לערוך אותן וכמובן – לעצב אותן.
לפני כ- 3 שנים התאהבתי בשתי תוכנות adobe – פוטושופ ולייטרום. שתי אלה שינו את מסלול חיי ועוד מאותו היום כבר ידעתי שאני פונה לכיוון בחירת ליבי.
מאז התוודעתי לשאר תוכנות adobe וביניהן – אילוסטרטור, אינדזיין, דרים-וויבר ופלאש (אנימייט כיום…) אשר שלחה אותי הישר בחזרה אל ימי בצבא – שם נתקלתי לראשונה בקסם הזה שנקרא אז מקרומדיה פלאש 4.
בהמשך דרכי, הכרתי את שפת HTML ובעזרתה ובעזרת ASP מלימוד עצמי בניתי מערכת ממוחשבת אשר שדרגה לחלוטין את מחלקתי ואשר השתמשתי בה מידי יום למשך שנים.
אתר זה, לעומת זאת נבנה באמצעות שימוש במערכת וורדפרס תוך ביצוע שינויים קלים באמצעות HTML ו- CSS.
